‘Black Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman gave up his ‘Best Hero’ MTV award to a guy who stopped a mass shooting

“Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman took home two awards, including best hero, at MTV’s Movie & TV Awards.
Boseman gave the hero award to James Shaw Jr., who stopped a shooting in Tennessee in April.
He said it was important to “acknowledge the heroes we have in real life”.

“Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman used his MTV Movie & TV Awards win to honor a man who stopped a shooting in Tennessee, handing him his “best hero” award and telling the man: “This is going to live at your house.”

Boseman, who starred as T’Challa in the Marvel superhero movie, handed the award to James Shaw Jr., who wrestled an assault-style rifle from a gunman in a Waffle House in April.See the rest of the story at Business Insider
